All of our stylists at Salon Exquisite are professional, friendly, and experienced. We require all of our employees to take advanced classes regularly in order to educate ourselves in the most current hair care techniques.
We employ only outstanding stylists who strive to exceed our clients’ expectations. We are dedicated to providing our clients with superior quality care in a warm and welcoming environment.

We specialize in all hair services and are accepting new clients. We are following all of the state’s guidelines and protocols to keep our clients safe. We want you to know you are welcome to come to us even if it is just temporary while your salon catches up with their sanitation and procedures.

Special Hours and Protocols:
The staff at Salon Exquisite wants to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued loyalty and support. We want to be very clear that we are taking your health and safety and that of our staff very seriously. Please know that maintaining a safe environment is our number one priority as we face the dangers and concerns of COVID-19, and our new policies and procedures will reflect this. Below you will find a detailed list of the safety measures we have taken, and the changes you can expect when scheduling and coming in for your appointments. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we navigate this new salon “norm”.
APPOINTMENTS
In order to adhere to the social distancing guidelines, we will limit the number of people in the salon to a maximum of 10. Due to this, we have shifted the days/hours our service providers are available. Your previously scheduled future appointments may no longer stand due to these changes. However, we will notify you as soon as possible about your future appointments.
Unfortunately due to social distance guidelines now in place, we will have less people answering phone calls and checking emails. Once we are back open, we strongly encourage clients to utilize ONLINE BOOKING.
SALON
We have cleaned and disinfected all surfaces and implements. We have put into effect the necessary precautions to continue this throughout our day. All capes, smocks, towels and linens will also be properly laundered after every client.
All non-essential items throughout our business have been removed. This includes magazines, books, and tissues.
CLIENTS
If you, or anyone you have been in contact with, are experiencing any of the following symptoms; Fever or Feverish, Cough, Sore Throat, Shortness of Breath, Unusual Fatigue, Chills, Body Aches, we ask that you stay home and call us at 508-755-7200 to reschedule. To offer clients flexibility, we will waive cancellation fees if you must cancel or reschedule a service under 24hrs due to symptoms of COVID-19 However, you will need to contact us in order to avoid a no show fee. Without communication from you, no show fees will be charged in full.
All staff and clients will be required to maintain social distancing at all times while in the salon. Spacing between persons in the salon should be at least six feet, except when staff are servicing clients. Please be aware of other guests.
We ask that you come with your hair clean and dry.
Please avoid any touching of our products. Inform your stylist which products you would like to purchase and they will get them ready for you.
UPON ARRIVAL
We ask that you arrive for your appointment at the time of your appointment and not earlier. Please wait in your car outside the salon for your appointment. We will text you when it is time to come inside.
Please limit any belongings that you bring with you perhaps to your phone (rather than your handbag). We will no longer have a coat rack. We ask that clients either leave their coat and purse in the car or keep it on your lap during your service. If you would like to place your items on the floor we can provide you with a plastic bag to hold your things.
Please do not bring any guests with you, including your children, to your appointment at this time. This will help us limit the number of people in the salon to ten or less.
Please sanitize your hands when entering the salon, after using the restroom, or after touching your face. Sanitize them by either using hand sanitizer or by properly washing using soap and water.
TOUCHLESS GREETINGS & GOODBYES
We will not be shaking hands or hugging at this time.
TEMPERATURE CHECKS
A touchless infrared thermometer will be used to check the temperature of each client and employee who enters the salon. Anyone who has a temperature above 99°F will be sent home immediately and asked not to return to the salon until they have no fever and no evidence of COVID-19 symptoms. All clients will have to answer health questions before their appointment.
MASKS
All of our staff will be required to wear masks. We will also require that all clients also wear a mask to your appointment. We ask that you wear one that secures behind the ears. For color clients, the mask must also be disposable. Clients who do not have their own mask can purchase one for $3.00.
TEMPORARILY UNAVAILABLE SERVICES
Temporarily, we will no longer be providing make-up applications or facial waxing at this time.
Please know how important it is to us to provide you with the best possible luxury service. Any adjustments in your service, is to ensure our safety and yours.
NO BEVERAGES OR FOOD
We will not be offering any beverages or snacks at this time.
EMPLOYEES
All our staff will be re-trained on essential infection control and hand hygiene practices. We have each taken the online Barbicide Certification to ensure we are practicing the best sanitation practices.
Any staff member feeling even slightly sick are being directed not to come to work as this puts themselves and others at risk.
All staff must wear a clean face shield while at work.
CONTACTLESS CHECKOUT
Before you arrive for your appointment, we will be requiring a credit card on file. You call and provide your credit card information for us to securely store on file – the same way you might store it with Amazon or Netflix. After your appointment, we can simply charge your card through our system – no buttons to press, no screens to touch, no unnecessary physical contact required. You can also provide your credit card information online by scheduling any appointment or by scheduling a “Card on file” appointment. Email us for simple instructions. This change is a way for us to make all transactions as safe as possible. We will not be accepting any other form of payment (including cash or checks).
We ask for your patience and understanding during this time as we are working quickly and very diligently to be both accommodating and conscientious to your needs. We are incorporating extensive new and improved sanitation practices into every aspect of our operation. We appreciate your kindness and support during this difficult time in history. Tell us about yourself and how you got started:
Owner, Ashley Johnson, believes that customer satisfaction and ongoing education were the keys to her early success. During her first eight years working as a stylist, Ashley dreamed of working in a salon that strived to not only to meet the client’s expectations, but to exceed them. That dream, mingled with Ashley’s spunk and charisma, resulted in the creation of Salon Exquisite. Here, Ashley intends to provide clients with a professional, welcoming environment and to only employ stylists who share the same dreams and ambitions. Continuing education and routine goal setting are requirements for all of her staff members to ensure that all customers are guaranteed to see a knowledgeable and driven stylist at each and every visit, no matter which stylist they see. Ashley is proud of her team and what it provides for her; the ability to continue her transition from behind the chair into growing and managing the Salon.
