My goal with this series is to share the work of Worcester-area women who are producing and publishing work. I’ll be featuring writers, podcasters, film/video and photographers.
Read their stuff. Watch their stuff. Buy their stuff.

The Worcester Beacon is a collaborative publication with many very talented people contributing. Two I’d like to highlight now are Em Quiles & Cara Lisa Berg Powers. They each are doing a great job of looking at issues in Worcester and putting them into context. Check them out along with their collaborators on The Worcester Beacon.

Christine Peterson: Photographer, Worcester Telegram
Christine Peterson has been capturing the stories of Worcester and Central Massachusetts for years. Anyone who has seen the Worcester Telegram is familiar with her work. She’s got a great Twitter presence too. Follow her @ChrisPetersonTG on Twitter
Ashley Green: Photographer, Worcester Telegram
Ashley Green is an amazing photographer who seems to be everywhere taking all the best photos. I’m not sure how she does it but it’s great fun to watch. She also loves baseball and has some very adorable cats. Her Twitter feed has a lot of both and that’s worth a follow on its own. She’s @agreenphotog on Twitter.
